Event overview
The Yorkshire 3 Peaks 70/100km Ultra 2026 is the 11th edition of the original ultra-distance race. It takes place on 19–20 September 2026 with start and finish at Hawes Market House in North Yorkshire. The route follows the Cam Road and includes the Yorkshire three peaks: Whernside, Ingleborough and Pen-y-Ghent. The course runs on established limestone trails and includes road heads and hill top sections.

- 70 km : total ascent 2185 metres
- 100 km (70 km plus a +30 km section) : additional ascent +984 metres
Entries open 15 September 2025 and close 11 September 2026. Entry fees are £68 (affiliated) and £70 (unaffiliated). Entries are limited to 120; seven participants are listed so far. Minimum age is 20.
The event provides Ranger Safety Team support at HQ, road heads and hill top locations. Water, soft drinks and sweet and savoury snacks are provided at road heads. Indoor hall resting space is available for finishing racers. Finishers receive medals and there are place categories and age-category prizes. Course notes and a GPX file are sent to entrants. A compulsory minimum kit list is enforced; required items include a backpack, waterproof jacket, warm layers, appropriate footwear, paper map and navigation compass, head torch with spare batteries, whistle, emergency bivvy and sufficient food and fluids.
