YMCA Maple Leaf Walk Run
The YMCA Maple Leaf Walk Run is the 27th annual event in La Crosse, Wisconsin that benefits the Y's Food Program. It takes place in Riverside Park and the road courses pass through part of the Oktoberfest parade route.
Road and virtual race options are offered. In-person road races start and finish in Riverside Park. A post-race sweet treat is provided.
There is a 2 hour and 45 minute cutoff for all races because of the parade; the course will be closed when the parade begins.

- Half Marathon - 13.1 Miles
- 5 Mile - 5 Miles
- 5K - 3.1 Miles
- Kids Maple Mile - 1 Mile
- Virtual Half Marathon - 13.1 Miles
- Virtual 5 Mile - 5 Miles
- Virtual 5K - 3.1 Miles
Registration opens January 1, 2026 for the listed events. Most race registrations close February 1, 2026. Published entry fees for in-person and corresponding virtual options are $50 for the half marathon, $35 for the 5 Mile, and $25 for the 5K; the Kids Maple Mile fee is $25.
