2025 Festival Foods Turkey Trot Coulee Region
The Festival Foods Turkey Trot Coulee Region is an annual community event held on Thanksgiving morning in Onalaska, Wisconsin. The event features multiple options for participants to walk or run, with courses starting and finishing near the Onalaska Omni Center.
Participants can choose from the following distances and categories:
- 5-Mile Run
- 2-Mile Fun Run
- 2-Mile Walk
- 2-Mile Dog Jog
The event utilizes a single start line organized into waves based on the selected distance and pace. Runners in the 5-Mile event start in the first wave, followed by 2-Mile runners and walkers. The Dog Jog is the final wave, and participants with dogs are restricted to the 2-Mile course.
Registered participants receive a long-sleeve shirt, which can be collected during designated times on the Wednesday before the event or on the morning of the race. Finishers are provided with snacks and a personal pumpkin pie after completing their course.
Parking is available at several nearby locations, including the Onalaska Omni Center, the Onalaska Aquatic Center, First Free Church, the R.W. Houser Family YMCA, and the Onalaska School District athletic fields. Specific road closures are in effect on race day, particularly on Riders Club Road east of the Omni Center.
