Yellow Brick Road 5K Fun Run | Lake in the Hills
The Yellow Brick Road 5K is a family-friendly, self-timed fun run and walk taking place at Lake in the Hills Sunset Park on 10/03/26. Participants follow a themed yellow brick path around the park toward the Emerald City, using scenic paths through the park for the 5K course.
The event includes themed photo opportunities, music, and surprises along the route. Pre-registered participants receive a race shirt and a wristband that grants entry to the Emerald City Community Party held after the run. Post-race activities at the community party include refreshments, awards for best costumes, and additional family activities.
