Event Overview
The Hops for Hope 5K & BrewFest is a combination of a running event and a beer festival in St. Charles, Illinois. Participants can choose from three ticket types: a 5K & BrewFest Combo Pack, a BrewFest Only ticket, or a Designated Driver ticket for the BrewFest without beer.
Course and Features
The professionally timed 5K starts and finishes at Mount Saint Mary Park. The route follows a river path toward Geneva, passing through Wheeler Park. A distinctive feature of the run is that there are five beer stops along the course, where local craft breweries serve 3-ounce samples.
Post-Race Festival
After the run, the BrewFest celebration takes place. Entry includes 18 beer samples, access to food vendors, live music, and raffle tickets. The event also features an Adaptive Bike Giveaway presentation. The BrewFest is open to all ticket holders, including those who did not run.
Registration and Logistics
Packet pickup is mandatory for 5K participants and cannot be done on race day. The event is for adults only; no one under 21 is permitted. The event supports Project Mobility, a nonprofit that provides adaptive cycling opportunities for people with disabilities. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
