Fox Chase Run 2026
The Fox Chase Run is the 33rd annual running event held in Fox River Grove, Illinois on Sunday, October 4, 2026. The start and finish are located in Stanger Park, adjacent to Algonquin Road School at 975 Algonquin Road.
Event distances include:
- 5K
- Youth 1 Mile (age 13 & under)
Registration details in 2026 included set entry fees and an open registration window from July 6 through October 4, 2026. Recorded fees for 2026 were $44.35 for the 5K and $17.73 for the Youth Mile. Race shirt availability and sizes were not guaranteed after September 10, 2026.
Pre-race packet pick up was scheduled for Saturday, October 3, 2026, at Algonquin Road School Soccer Fields from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Race day packet pick up and registration were available on the morning of the event from 7:45 AM to 8:45 AM.
Prizes include cash awards to the top male and top female overall in the 5K and medals awarded to top runners in the following age brackets: 13 & under; 14–19; 20–24; 25–29; 30–34; 35–39; 40–44; 45–49; 50–54; 55–59; 60–64; 65–69; 70+.
The event is presented by the Fox River Grove Recreation Council, a volunteer organization and qualified 501c3 focused on youth athletic opportunities and development. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
