Fox Chase Run
The 33rd Annual Fox Chase Run is scheduled for Sunday, October 4, 2026 in Fox River Grove, Illinois. The event is organized by the Fox River Grove Recreation Council. The start and finish are located in Stanger Park, adjacent to Algonquin Road School at 975 Algonquin Road.
The event includes these distances:
- 5K
- Youth 1 Mile (age 13 and under)
Registration for 2026 is open from July 6 through October 4. Listed fees for the 2026 event are $44.35 for the 5K and $17.73 for the Youth Mile; shown amounts include mandatory charges and fees. Pre-race packet pick up is scheduled for Saturday, October 3 at the Algonquin Road School soccer fields, and race day packet pick up and registration are available on event day.
Cash awards are given to the top male and top female overall in the 5K, and medals are awarded to top runners in age brackets including 13 and under, 14–19, 20–24, 25–29, 30–34, 35–39, 40–44, 45–49, 50–54, 55–59, 60–64, 65–69, and 70 plus. Race shirts are available but sizes and availability are not guaranteed after September 10, 2026.
