Panting Four Paws is the 20th running of a community event held at Lippold Park in Crystal Lake, Illinois on October 3, 2026. The event features multiple distances and a course that starts and finishes by the park playground.

The 5K is one loop of the course and the 10K consists of two loops. Post-race food and refreshments are provided after the event. Pre-race packet pick up is scheduled the day before at The Running Depot in Crystal Lake and race day packet pick up is available at Lippold Park. Registrations received by 2026-09-13 are guaranteed a race shirt and size when applicable; the 1 Mile entry does not include a race shirt.
Proceeds benefit Helping Paws Animal Shelter, a private non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. The shelter reports handling more than 800 animals annually and is using event funds to support Phase 2 renovations intended to improve space for animals while they await adoption.
