Wrexham 10K
The Wrexham 10K is scheduled for Sunday 25th April 2027 and starts and finishes on Queen Street in the centre of Wrexham. The course combines town centre roads with a middle section of countryside lanes, with a mix of faster sections and some small inclines and views.
Race headquarters are located at Queen Street. Parking is available in nearby town centre car parks within a short walk of the start and finish. Roads on the route will be fully closed for the safety of runners and marshals, and spectators are asked to stay off the course until runners have passed. The organiser provides information for residents about temporary road closures.
Runners receive a finishers medal and event goodies. There is a race cut off time of 90 minutes and roads will reopen in line with the event pace; runners who fall behind may be asked to withdraw for safety. Minimum age to enter is 15 years.
On race day there will be event music and a help desk. The event aims to have one water station around the halfway point and water available at the start and finish areas; runners are encouraged to bring a suitable bottle to carry during the race. Prizes are awarded to the top three male and top three female finishers and across seven age group categories for both men and women. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
