Course and race information
The route starts and finishes at Hooton Memorial Hall on the Wirral Way. The first 12 miles follow a disused railway path, then continue on coastal paths. The course follows the well-signposted Wirral Circular with additional waymarking provided, but it is partially self-navigational. The event has a 12 hour cutoff, and the organiser notes significant stretches of hard terrain that may not suit runners who use only soft trail surfaces. There are four checkpoints offering water and snacks. The entry fee includes a finisher medal, drinks and snacks, and a GPS tracker for Open Tracking. An optional finisher t-shirt is available for £10. Prizes include trophies for 1st male, female, and non-binary, and for 1st male and female in the 50, 60 and 70 categories.
