World Mental Health Day 5K - Gaithersburg
The World Mental Health Day 5K takes place on October 10, 2026, at Fleet Feet Gaithersburg, 201 Market St W, Gaithersburg, MD 20878. The event is sponsored by Altra and organized in connection with Still I Run’s mission to promote movement for mental well-being.
The event distance is 3.1 Miles and serves as the culminating event of National Run for Mental Health Week. It is held in person at Fleet Feet Gaithersburg and also takes place virtually and at Fleet Feet locations across the country on the same day.
There are two registration options: a $10 registration that includes official event registration and one entry into the World Mental Health Day prize drawing, and a $25 Commemorative Collection registration that includes one prize drawing entry plus commemorative items. The Commemorative Collection, available while supplies last, includes a woven iron-on patch, a gym bag or luggage tag, and a performance neck gaiter. The deadline to receive commemorative items is September 12, 2026.
Registration opens July 22, 2026 and closes October 10, 2026. During registration participants may create fundraisers; funds raised support Still I Run’s free programs, supportive communities, and resources related to movement for mental well-being.
