The House That Beer Built at Vanish Farmwoods Brewing
This event features a chip-timed 5k held at Vanish Farmwoods Brewing in Leesburg, with a separate 1 mile option for children or participants preferring a shorter distance. A virtual entry option is available for those who cannot attend in person.
Points earned at this event count toward the 5k and Back of the Pack Series and the Sippin' Series. Registered participants receive one glass of beer from Vanish Brewing, a finisher's medal, a technical (Dri-fit) event shirt, and chip timing. T-shirts are guaranteed for runners registered before September 23; additional shirts will be available afterward on a first-come, first-served basis.
The race benefits Loudoun Habitat for Humanity. That organization sells houses at an affordable no-profit rate to qualified buyers who earn 30% to 80% of the area median income and requires volunteer hours and classes from homebuyers as part of its program.
Course support includes two water stations located at approximately mile markers 1 and 2, and Gatorade at some stations. Bathrooms are onsite at the brewery. Packet pickup and race day registration are available at the venue; organizers recommend arriving early to check in. Parking is onsite and a latitude/longitude pin (39.223596, -77.538772) is provided for navigation.
