Event overview
The Vanish Brewing 5k - The House That Beer Built takes place at Vanish Brewing in Leesburg, Virginia on October 3, 2026. The event offers two distances:
- 5k
- 1 mile
The race counts toward the 5k & Back of the Pack Series and the Sippin’ Series. A virtual race option is available for participants who cannot attend in person. The event benefits Loudoun Habitat for Humanity.
Race details
Registered participants receive one glass of beer from Vanish Brewing, a finisher’s medal, a technical (Dri-fit) event shirt, and chip timing. T-shirt sizes are guaranteed for entries received before September 23; additional shirts will be available afterward on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration fees listed are: 5k $35 (increases to $40 after September 15) and 1 mile $25 (increases to $30 after September 15); prices increase by $5 on race morning.
Course maps are listed as coming soon. Two water stations will be placed along the 5k course near mile markers 1 and 2; Gatorade may be available at some stations. Bathrooms will be onsite at the brewery. Packet pickup is available at the event and race day registration is offered, though race day registrants may not receive guaranteed shirt sizes.
Awards are given to the top three men and women overall and to first and second place male and female in standard age categories from 19 & under through 70+. Live results will be posted online after the race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
