Oatlands 5K Miles for Mammograms
Miles for Mammograms is a community 5K presented by HealthWorks and Oatlands. The event raises funds for breast cancer screenings to increase access to early detection, care, and support for women regardless of income or insurance.
The course is set on the grounds of Oatlands Plantation in Leesburg, Virginia, a site of the National Trust for Historic Preservation. The route winds through fields and forests and includes a notable steep section known as Heartbreak Hill. HealthWorks for Northern Virginia is described as a provider of medical, dental, and behavioral healthcare across five locations, serving people who are uninsured or underinsured.
Online registration opens on May 13, 2026. Registration fees are listed as $30 through July 31 and $40 from August 1 through race day. Packet pickup is noted as available on race day. Awards are planned for the overall top male and female finishers and for top male and female finishers in the listed age groups: 18 and under, 19 to 34, 25 to 49, and 50 and over.
