Woodstock Turkey Trot
The Woodstock Turkey Trot is an inaugural 5K road race organized by Family of Woodstock on November 26, 2026 in Woodstock, NY at 56 Rock City Road. The course is described as scenic and mostly flat with a few gentle hills. The event will use official chip timing supplied by a professional timing company that also times national triathlons.
Volunteers, clear course signage, and support from the Town of Woodstock are listed as part of the event setup to help ensure participant safety and course direction. Food and beverages will be available before and after the race. The first 125 registrants receive a complimentary Turkey Trot 25 tote bag. Medals will be awarded to age group and overall winners. Fast results will be posted online and shared with local media.
Pets and other animals are not permitted for safety reasons. Family of Woodstock notes prior experience organizing the New Paltz Turkey Trot for over 20 years. Registration opens September 9, 2026 and closes November 26, 2026; the registration fee is $30.00. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
