Phoenicia Turkey Trot
The Phoenicia Turkey Trot is a community running and walking event taking place on Saturday, November 28, 2026. The program includes registration and check in at Parish Hall, a pre race stretch on Parish Field, a main race on Parish Field, a kids Tot Trot for children 10 and under with a prize for chasing the turkey, a winner presentation in Parish Hall, and a 50/50 raffle with snacks and warm drinks.
For safety reasons no dogs are allowed on the course or in Parish Hall. Parish Field and Parish Hall are located across the street from the Church of St. Fracis De Sales at 109 Main Street, Phoenicia, NY 12464. Parish Field can also be accessed by car from 16 Ava Maria Drive, Phoenicia, NY 12464.
The event schedule separates family friendly activities from race related items: youth racing and a short pre race stretch take place on the field, while registration, results, and post race presentations take place in the parish hall. The raffle proceeds and community participation are noted as part of the post race gathering, which offers warm drinks and snacks. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
