Event overview
The YMCA 42nd Annual Reindeer Ramble is a 5K holiday road race and walk held in Kingston, New York. The event takes place at the YMCA location at 507 Broadway, Kingston, NY 12401. It is a snow-or-shine event and includes a themed SantaPede option where participants can run in teams tied together like Santa's reindeer. Prizes and a post-race party are part of the event. Registration and participation
The event offers multiple entry categories for the 5K: student registration, adult registration, adult walker, and SantaPede. Pre-registration fees listed are $15 for students and $23 for adult categories. Adult and other non-student prices increase after December 4, 2025; student registration closes on December 4, 2025 and reopens on December 7, 2025. Race day registration is available at a higher cost: $20 for students and $25 for adults. The first 75 pre-registered entrants will receive a long-sleeve shirt.
