Women’s Collegiate Triathlon National Championship 2026
Arizona State University hosts the 2026 Women’s Collegiate Triathlon National Championship at Tempe Town Lake North Park (North Shore Beach, 600 N Mill Ave, Tempe, AZ 85281). The event brings together collegiate women’s triathletes to compete for the national title in a sprint triathlon format: 750 m swim, 20 km bike, 5 km run.
The competition is organized into multiple heats with scheduled transition openings, swim warm ups, athlete call outs, and a post-race awards presentation at the race site. A swim course preview and an athlete briefing take place the day before the main competition. Race timing is provided by 4 Peaks Racing using triathlon chips; athletes must wear chips on the left ankle from start to finish, return them at the finish line, and are responsible for lost or unreturned chips. Athletes are asked not to cut the provided neoprene strap.
The championship is sanctioned by USA Triathlon; participants must hold either an annual membership or purchase a one-day membership, which can be obtained during online registration. Racer amenities include an event t-shirt, finisher medal, post-race refreshments, and awards. There is no parking at the race site; all parking locations require at least a half mile walk or ride. Recommended parking options include Rio Salado/Ash Parking Garage, Tempe Town Lake Marina Parking Lot, and the City Hall Parking Garage. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
