Bagel Run Phoenix
The Bagel Run is a community-focused running event held at G.R. Herberger Park in Phoenix, Arizona. This event is organized as a small, private group run with a limited number of participants per wave to maintain a low-stress environment. It is open to all ages and paces, including runners and walkers, though participants under 18 must be accompanied by a guardian.
The event offers several distance options to accommodate different fitness levels:
- 1 Mile Family Fun Run
- 5 km
- 10 km
- 13.1 miles (Half-Marathon)
- Virtual Run
This run emphasizes a relaxed atmosphere without the use of timing chips. Timing is entirely optional; participants may track their own progress using personal apps or request assistance from on-site coordinators to record their times for the online results page.
Registered participants receive a swag bag that includes a finisher's medal, a running t-shirt, and a finisher's towel or similar giveaway. The t-shirt is shipped directly to the participant's provided US mailing address, while race bibs are distributed on the day of the event. A virtual run option is also available for those who prefer to complete their distance at a location of their choice, which includes a digital training pack and a medal upon submission of results. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
