Oktoberfest Runnin' for the Bräts
Oktoberfest Runnin' for the Bräts is a community running event on Saturday, October 10, 2026 at Tempe Beach Park / Tempe Town Lake, 80 West Rio Salado Parkway, Tempe, AZ 85281. The event offers separate course options and allows strollers and leashed dogs.
Race distances:
- 10 km Dare To Run In Your Lederhosen (runners only)
- 5 km Regensburg Dirndl Dash (run or walk)
- 1 mile Frank Kush Run/Walk
Registration fees vary by race and date and are listed for each distance. Fees include a tech T-shirt, a polished 1 liter Munich replica stein, one free beverage for participants 21 and older with ID and bib, one free Oktoberfest brat with bib, post-run water and fruit, and access to a post-run concert and Oktoberfest admission benefits. Packet pick up is scheduled the day before the race at Road Runner Sports, Tempe Market Place, 43 S McClintock, Tempe.
Chip timing is used with disposable chips on the reverse side of the race number; participants should pin numbers to the front of their shirt and wear them over the belly button. Live results are available at the results kiosk. Awards include Road Runner Sports gift certificates for overall 5K and 10K winners and medals for age-group winners; all Frank Kush 1 Mile walk participants receive medals.
