Battle of the Branches 5K Run
Battle of the Branches is an annual 5K Run/Walk held at Arizona Falls on October 3, 2026, that raises awareness and funds in the fight against veteran suicide. The event stages a friendly competition between military branches, awarding a title for the branch with the most registered participants. Proceeds support veteran-specific services including Navigation, Peer Support, Advocacy, and Education provided by Rally Point Arizona.
Multiple participation options are offered:
- 5K Run/Walk (in-person)
- Virtual 5K (US addresses only)
All participants receive a custom finisher's medal and a custom dri-fit tech t-shirt, with a no-shirt option available for a reduced fee. Virtual participants receive race items shipped after October 3 and are given instructions to submit results by email. The in-person event is chip timed with real-time results and event photos available online and via a mobile app. Age group awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in standard age divisions for race day participants.
Race day packet pickup is available at Arizona Falls. Cash and credit are accepted on site. Wheelchairs, strollers, and wagons are welcome but must start at the back; bicycles, roller blades, skateboards, and motorized devices are not allowed on the course. Leashed pets are permitted.
