Winter Weavers' 50km / 100km Ultras

The Winter Weavers' Ultramarathons offer two point-to-point trail races finishing at Cromer Pier. Distances offered include:

  • 50 km from Stalham to Cromer
  • 100 km from Great Yarmouth to Cromer

The route follows the Weavers' Way, a well-marked trail running from the Broads to Cromer. Signage provided by the organiser is limited, so participants must be able to navigate using a GPX file. Train connections are available to Great Yarmouth and Cromer, and a coach transfer from Cromer to Stalham is offered for the 50 km race for a fee.

Entries are limited to 150 participants and the minimum age on race day is 20 years. Time limits are applied to each race and will be strictly enforced. The entry package includes an iconic finish at Cromer Pier, a Winter Weavers finishers medal, indoor checkpoints with water and food, a light meal and hot drinks at the Cromer Recovery Centre, GPX course files, GPS tracking for safety, and first aid cover. Prizes are awarded for first, second and third in the Female and Male/Open categories in each race. A nominal donation of £1 per runner is made to Norfolk Trails. T shirts and a coach transfer option are available for additional fees. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
