Event Details
The Wroxham 5k is a Norfolk County Championship race. The course is described as fast and features partial road closure. There is a strict 50-minute cut-off time due to the road closure arrangements.
Participation Rules
Runners must be a minimum of 12 years old on race day. Buggies, dogs, and all headphones (including bone-conducting types) are not allowed; any runner wearing headphones will be disqualified in accordance with England Athletics rules.
Awards and Extras
All runners receive a medal at the finish line. Prizes are awarded to the overall top three male and female finishers, as well as to the first finisher in various age categories for men and women. Prize presentations occur on the day once official results are confirmed, and uncollected prizes are forfeited.
A free Junior race of approximately 1 mile is also held at the school field.
Registration Information
Race numbers can be collected in the weeks leading up to the event at Catton Parkrun and Sportlink, or on the eve of the race from Race HQ. For a fee of £2, runners can opt to have their number posted to them.
