Winter Weavers' 50km / 100km Ultras - 14 November 2026
The Winter Weavers' Ultras are point to point ultramarathons that follow the Weavers' Way to a finish at Cromer Pier. The event offers two distances and starts from different towns; participants must be able to navigate using a GPX file as event signage is limited. Shorter daylight, winter weather and wet, muddy trails are noted as likely conditions. The event is licensed by the Association of Running Clubs and held under UK Athletics rules.
Distances
- 50 km from Stalham to Cromer
- 100 km from Great Yarmouth to Cromer
The races have strict time limits of ten hours for the 50 km and nineteen hours for the 100 km. Minimum age on race day is 20 years. Entry is limited to 150 participants overall and transfers to another participant are allowed until 31 October 2026. UKA members and non members have different entry fees.
Entry fee inclusions listed by the organiser include an iconic finish at Cromer Pier, a finisher medal, indoor checkpoints with food and drinks, a light meal and hot drinks at the Cromer recovery centre, GPX course files, GPS tracking for safety, first aid cover, prizes for first three in Female and Male/Open categories, and a £1 per runner donation to Norfolk Trails. A coach transfer from Cromer to Stalham is available for the 50 km race for a fee and a T shirt can be purchased. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
