Holkham Half Marathon & 10k
The Holkham Half Marathon and 10k event takes place within the grounds of Holkham Hall and the surrounding Norfolk countryside in Wells-next-the-Sea. Participants run on closed rural roads that feature undulating terrain. The course begins and ends in front of the 18th-century Holkham estate, passing through parkland and local scenic routes.
The following distances are available:
- Half Marathon: A road race with 220m of elevation gain on an undulating course.
- 10k: A road race with 97m of elevation gain on an undulating course.
Each kilometre is marked with distance flags. The event incorporates accurate chip timing for all participants. An event village is located on-site, providing various food and drink options and spaces for participants to gather. Marshals are positioned throughout the course to provide guidance.
Registration includes a themed medal, digital race photos, and post-race items provided at the finish line. Event t-shirts featuring the race logo are available for purchase during the entry process. The organizers implement sustainability measures as part of the event management. The race is conducted on fully closed roads to ensure a vehicle-free environment for all runners.
