Event overview
The Spring Blickling Half Marathon takes place in Blickling on 29 March 2026. The route starts and finishes in front of Blickling Hall. The race is a Half Marathon distance, is currently sold out, and had reached its entrant limit.
Race format and route
The course is multi-terrain, combining road, adopted road and hard-wearing tracks. It is not affiliated with UK Athletics but will follow UK Athletics guidelines. Some sections of the route may be uneven and narrow. The event has a cut-off time of 4 hours and a minimum entrant age of 17 on race day.
Entries, fees and inclusions
Entries include chip timing and a bespoke race medal. Race numbers can be posted for an additional £1.20 (free for charity entries) or collected on the morning of the event. An Official Race T-shirt is available as an add-on for £15 in unisex sizes XS to XXXXL, with size measurements provided at entry. Any profits from the race are to be reinvested into local sport and physical activity by organiser EPIC Norfolk.
Charity and other notes
A charity entry option requires fundraising a minimum of £150 via an official fundraising page to qualify for an entry fee refund; failure to meet the fundraising target will result in entry removal. Charity partners include EPIC Norfolk's Dementia Campaign, Brave Futures, Norfolk & Waveney MIND, Keeping Abreast, Priscilla Bacon Hospice, Big-C, Nelson's Journey, East Anglian Air Ambulance, Shelter Norfolk, Norfolk Blood Bikes, Norfolk Accident Rescue Service (NARS), NSPCC Norwich, Star Throwers, East of England Ambulance Service Charity and The Benjamin Foundation.
Facilities and event policy
Facilities advertised include toilets and event parking, with food items (donuts and cookies) at the finish. If the event is postponed, entries will be moved to the new date or transferred or completed virtually; if cancelled and not postponed, entries will be deferred to the following year or eligible for a refund per the organiser's cancellation policy.
