The 14th Annual Winter Lights is a night-time 5K road race held on Saturday, December 6, 2025, in Pembroke, MA, with staging at the Pembroke Community Center. The course is a closed loop that starts and finishes at the community center. The event takes place after the town tree lighting and is held in the dark, so headlamps or flashlights are required for all participants. Race proceeds benefit the Pembroke Firehouse Pantry, a Massachusetts registered 501(c)(3) that partners with the Greater Boston Food Bank, Stop & Shop, Panera and Walmart to serve nearly 700 local families.
Logistics, registration and awards
Bib pickup is at the Pembroke Community Center (room listed on event materials). Parking is at Pembroke Community Middle School, 559 School Street, with shuttle service between the parking area and the start. Restrooms are inside the community center. There is a self-serve unattended bag drop; participants are advised not to leave valuables. There is no water stop on the course; water and snacks will be available at the finish. Walkers are allowed and dogs are not permitted on the course. The event publishes tiered registration pricing including Labor Day, Early Bird, Early October, Regular and Last Minute rates for adult, student, youth and senior categories. Awards are given post-race: overall 1st–3rd male and female, and 1st–3rd male and female in age groups from 10 & under up to 80+. Participants must be able to complete the course within 60 minutes.
