Gregory's Run 4 Hope 5K
Gregory's Run 4 Hope is a community 5K held in Scituate at the Scituate Beach Association, 88 Scituate Avenue. The event benefits the Gregory Mark Shea II Foundation, whose mission is to provide compassionate support and practical assistance to families who have lost a loved one to substance use or fentanyl-related tragedy, including financial relief and a network of care.
Online registration information notes pricing tiers for the event: adult, student (age 11-18), and children (10 and under) fees are listed with reduced rates available through the listed deadline and higher fees on race day. Registrants who register by March 25 receive a race shirt. Online registration windows and on-site registration are used to manage entries.
Bib pickup and on-site registration are available at the Scituate Beach Association and there is an additional pre-race pickup location at South Shore Peer Recovery, 51 Cole Parkway. Walkers are welcome and dogs are not allowed on the course. There are awards for overall finishers and for age-group winners, and limited parking is available near the start with no street parking allowed, so carpooling is recommended. A course map and parking map are provided by the organizers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
