Gregory's Run 4 Hope is a community road race held on April 10, 2027 at the Scituate Beach Association, 88 Scituate Avenue, Scituate. The event features a 5K distance and welcomes walkers.
Registration fees are published by category: Adults $30 through 4/10 and $35 on race day; Students (ages 11-18) $25 through 4/10 and $30 on race day; Children (10 and under) $20 through 4/10 and $25 on race day. Online processing fees are not included in those amounts. Registrants who register before the end of day on March 25 are eligible to receive a race shirt.
Race-day logistics note that bib pickup and on-site registration are available at the Scituate Beach Association. There is limited parking near the start and no street parking is allowed in the immediate area. Walkers are explicitly welcome and dogs are not permitted on the race course.
Awards include overall 1st through 3rd place for male and female finishers and first-place awards for age-group divisions that range from youth through 80 plus. Race proceeds benefit a foundation that provides compassionate support and practical assistance to families who have lost a loved one to substance use or fentanyl-related tragedy; the foundation’s work focuses on easing financial burdens and creating a network of care for grieving families.
