Cohasset Road Race by the Sea 50th Anniversary
The Cohasset Road Race by the Sea celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2026. Presented by the Cohasset Rotary Club, this long-standing spring event serves as a significant fundraiser for local and global charities. The course starts and finishes near the Cohasset Town Common and follows a route along the Atlantic coastline, offering views of the Boston and Minot Lighthouses.
Participants can choose from the following event formats:
- 10K Run
- Walk to benefit Safe Harbor Cohasset Coalition
The 10K Run features a course with coastal views. Registration for this distance includes an event t-shirt. The Walk is an untimed event designed for friends and families to traverse the same scenic route. Registration for the walk also includes a shirt, and children aged 12 and under can participate in the walk for free.
The event center is located at the South Shore Community Center on North Main Street in Cohasset, Massachusetts. This location serves as the hub for registration and materials pickup. Bib and shirt collection takes place at the Community Center on the Saturday before the event and on the morning of the race.
The proceeds from the event support local charitable organizations and global initiatives through Rotary International. Organizers do not offer refunds; if a participant is unable to attend, their registration fee is considered a donation to the club’s supported charities.
