Winter Duathlon Series Round 2 : Deal
This duathlon takes place on 15 November at Betteshanger Country Park in Deal, Kent. The event is held on parkland at the named venue and is organised as a club duathlon series round.
Pre-booking is required; there are no entries on the day. Bookings must be made by the stated deadline the day before the event via email to the event organiser. Registration is at the trackside shelter on the day. Participants must provide a mobile number and an emergency contact. Car registration is required to use the free parking at the venue.
Entry fees are charged at £6 for members and £8 for guests; payment is by bank transfer to the club account DEALTRI 40-16-11 62656922 with reference "duathlon". Entry fees are non-refundable. Participants enter at their own risk.
The event uses three recommended start groups determined by expected finish time: participants who typically finish around 1 hour 10 minutes and above; those who finish over one hour up to about 1 hour 9 minutes; and those who typically finish under one hour. These groupings are guidance only and may be adjusted on the day. Guests may attend up to three sessions before club membership is required to continue attending club events.
