Kent Christmas Cracker
Kent Christmas Cracker is a seasonal running event taking place on 20 December 2026 at Betteshanger Country Park, Deal, Kent. It is organised by Nice Work and is described as a festive race held on a tarmac, traffic-free course within the park.
The event offers the following distances:
- 5 mile: Two full clockwise laps
- 2 mile fun run: One big loop
- Junior run: 1 km out and back
The 5 mile course is a two-lap route on a flat surface. Race headquarters are located on the tarmac cycle circuit. Organisers note there is parking available at the park with a charge for the car park. The nearest railway stations are Deal and Sandwich, after which a taxi or cycle is required to reach the park.
The race raises funds for Shelter. Shelter provides support to people experiencing or at risk of homelessness and campaigns on housing issues.
Included for participants are a bespoke medal, free photographs, and trophies and prizes for leading runners. On-the-day entry fees, subject to availability, are listed as £30 for the 5 Mile, £10 for the Fun Run and £7 for the Junior Run.
