Event
Thanet Coastal 10 & 5 Mile is scheduled for 6 December 2026 at Palm Bay School, Palm Bay Ave CT9 3PP. The event is organised by Sporting Events UK and offers two road race distances along the Thanet Coast in East Kent.
Course and facilities
The route follows the majority of the Alan Green Thanet 10 Mile route used by Thanet Roadrunners, with some changes. The course runs along the coast with sea views. Facilities at the venue include refreshments, baggage drop and toilets. A finisher medal is provided to every finisher. Results are published live on the event website.

Entry, categories and eligibility
Advanced entry fees:
- 10 mile: £27 affiliated, £29 unaffiliated
- 5 mile: £23 affiliated, £25 unaffiliated
On-the-day entry (subject to space):
- 10 mile: £35
- 5 mile: £30
Advanced entries close at 1pm on the Wednesday before the event. Under UK Athletics rules the minimum age is 17 for the 10 mile and 15 for the 5 mile on the day. Prizes are awarded to the first three male and female finishers and to first male and female VET40, VET50 and VET60 finishers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
