About the race
Thanet Coastal 10 & 5 Mile is a seaside running event staged along the Thanet Coast in East Kent, starting near Palm Bay in Margate (Palm Bay School, Palm Bay Ave, CT9 3PP). The event offers two distances: a 10-mile and a 5-mile route, largely taking the Alan Green Thanet 10 Mile course with some changes. The route delivers coastal views with far-reaching sea panoramas and a welcoming atmosphere suitable for all runners.
Finisher medals are awarded to every participant, with refreshments, music and live commentary. Prizes for top three men and women plus veteran categories; live results feed; on-site baggage drop, toilets, and refreshments. Advanced entries close midweek prior; age limits apply.
