Event Details
The Wings of the West Urban Ultra is a point-to-point running event. It starts at the Pioneer Settlement in Barberville, Florida, and finishes at the Lyonia Environmental Center in Deltona, Florida. The event takes runners on a tour of West Volusia County.
Race Format
The event offers a 55K individual distance. New for 2026, there are also 2-Person and 4-Person Relay team options. Participants navigate between specific "wing" art installations painted by local artist Erica Group.
Course and Logistics
The course is mostly self-supported. Participants must carry their own hydration and nutrition. Some wing stops may provide water, ice, and possibly snacks. Participants must provide their own transportation to the start line at Pioneer Settlement and from the finish line. The event has a 12-hour cutoff time.
Additional Information
