Wilson Creek Frozen 50k : January 24, 2026

The Wilson Creek Frozen 50k is a winter trail event near Melba, Idaho, on the Wilson Creek trail system about 30 minutes south of Nampa. The route uses trails around Reynolds Creek gorge, follows the China Ditch, and includes a summit of Wilson Peak. The event takes place in winter conditions on natural singletrack and backcountry trails.

Courses and entries

  • 50k : combination of the 20 mile and 10 mile loops; total 6000' elevation gain.
  • 20 Mile : 4500' elevation gain.
  • 10 Mile : 1500' elevation gain.

The 10 mile event is currently full and has a waiting list. The 20 mile event shows limited availability. Event prices listed on the organizer page are $90 for the 20 mile and $70 for the 10 mile.
