Wicked Wine Run – Ste. Chapelle Winery
The Wicked Wine Run takes place at the Ste. Chapelle Winery in Caldwell, Idaho. Known as the oldest winery in the state, the venue is situated within the Snake River Valley and offers views of the Owyhee Mountain Range. This event combines physical activity with wine tasting, taking participants through the vineyard grounds.
Participants can choose from the following distances:
- 5 km run or walk through the vineyard trails.
- 1 km tasting walk featuring multiple sampling stations.
Participants in the 5 km event receive an event bib, a shirt, and a finisher medal. Upon crossing the finish line, they are provided with a glass of wine. The 5 km course includes two water stations and utilizes wave starts every few minutes based on pace.
The 1 km participants stop at three separate wine sampling stations along the route, with a fourth tasting provided at the finish line. This distance includes an event bib, a shirt, and a souvenir wine glass. For those who wish to complete both distances, a combined ticket option is available.
The event grounds host a festival including an after party with music, food trucks, games, and contests for costumes and dancing. All attendees, including participants and spectators, must be 21 years of age or older and provide valid identification for age verification.
