Wicked Wine Run - Sunrise Ranch Winery
The Wicked Wine Run takes place at the Sunrise Ranch Winery in American Canyon, within the Napa Valley region. The event is hosted on a 400-acre estate that serves as a custom crush facility with views of the surrounding vineyards. Participation is strictly limited to individuals aged 21 and over, with age verification required for all attendees.
Participants can choose from the following distances:
- 5 km run or walk
- 1 km tasting walk
The 5 km course features a self-seeded start with waves departing every few minutes. Continuous hydration is provided via two water stations along the route and one at the finish. Participants in this distance receive an event shirt, a finisher medal, and a glass of wine upon completing the course.
The 1 km tasting walk is designed as a relaxed stroll through the vineyard. This route includes three sampling stations where participants receive one-ounce wine tastings, followed by a fourth tasting at the finish line. All 1 km participants receive a designated event wine glass and an event shirt.
The venue offers a festival atmosphere featuring an after-party with music, food trucks, and lawn games. Attendees are encouraged to bring folding chairs or blankets for the festival grounds. Additional activities include costume contests and dance competitions. On-site parking is available for a fee, and registration options include race-day packet pickup or mail-to-door delivery for race materials.
