Event Overview

The Nitro Turkey is a Thanksgiving morning running event held on November 26, 2026, at Point Pinole Regional Park in San Pablo, California.

Races

The event offers two main race distances:

5K
10K

Both courses use the trails within the park.

Little Turkeys Kids' Race

A short run for children approximately 100 yards long is available. Children 10 years and younger who are attending with a registered 5K or 10K participant receive free entry. All finishers in the kids' race receive a special medal and a goodie bag.

Additional Details

Thanksgiving-themed costumes for participants of all ages are encouraged. Walkers are welcome to participate in the 5K and 10K events.

Charity Support

The event supports the Food Bank of Contra Costa & Solano. Participants are encouraged to bring at least one canned good item on race morning. Cash donations can also be made during registration or on the event day. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
