Concord California Turkey Trot
The Concord California Turkey Trot is a community 5K run and walk held at Newhall Park in Concord, California on Thanksgiving, Thursday, November 26, 2026. The event supports Loaves and Fishes of Contra Costa and is organized by Diablo Valley Federal Credit Union.

Registration for the 5K run/walk is capped at 2,000 participants. Children age two and under in a stroller do not require a paid registration. A family 4-pack option is available with a limited number of entries and requires all four individuals to be registered at checkout.
The course uses varied terrain including grass fields, park pathways, and city streets. Participants using strollers or pets are asked to enter the start area at the back so they do not impede timed runners. The Kids Run is a short loop around the soccer field near the main start and finish area; it is for children who are walking through age eight, is not timed, and provides a participant ribbon to every child.
All 5K Run/Walk participants receive a tech t-shirt and a medal. Charity entries include a $50 donation and a long sleeve tech shirt with Loaves and Fishes branding.
