Event overview
The Wicked Wine Run is scheduled for April 4, 2026, at La Viña Winery/Vineyards, 4201 S. Hwy 28, La Union, NM. The venue is described as New Mexico’s longest-standing winery, with more than 45 years of wine production. The event combines short running or walking courses through vineyard areas with post-race wine tasting, music, and an after party. All participants and spectators must be 21 and over; an age verification process will be used at packet pickup or on event day.

Race inclusions and tasting details
The 1K ticket includes three 1 oz wine tastings along the course and a fourth tasting at the finish served in a provided wine glass. The 5K ticket includes a wine glass with wine at the finish. Both distance options include an event bib, a 2026 event shirt, a finisher medal, and access to the after party.
Logistics and amenities
Packet pickup specific details will be posted within two weeks of the event. A race packet delivery option is available for $20 and is offered until two weeks prior to the event. The 5K course will have two water stations along the route and an additional water station at the finish. Parking at the venue may cost up to $20; a digital parking pass can be pre-purchased. Additional on-site features include food trucks, race goods, aid stations, sampling stations, music, games, costume and dance contests, and a spectator tasting-only ticket option.
