Resler Trail Race & Family Walk
The second annual Resler Trail Race & Family Walk takes place on December 6, 2026, at Wakeem/Teschner Nature Preserve at Resler Canyon, a 91-acre protected space owned outright by The Frontera Land Alliance. The event brings together runners, walkers, families, and people interested in the local natural area.
The event aims to educate the community about land preservation, showcase the preserve's trails, and present other Frontera Land Alliance activities offered throughout the year. No dogs will be allowed in the preserve during the race.
Race and walk options include:
- 5k (3 miles) trail run/walk
- 1 mile trail walk
Location details note the preserve entrance at the dead end of Cadiz Street and Fiesta Drive in El Paso, Texas. Packet pick-up is scheduled for the day before the event on December 5 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Frontera Land Alliance office, 1201 N Mesa St, El Paso, TX 79902. Day-of packet pick-up is available the morning of the event from 7:00 am to 7:30 am. Registration before November 15 is recommended for those who want an event shirt.
