Avon Valley Runners stages a three-lap 5k road race in Westbury. The event is UK/England Athletics licensed with the licence number to be confirmed. Race headquarters and registration are at the Player's Club, 26 Quartermaster Road, Westbury BA13 4JT.
The course is run entirely on road and uses gun to tape chip timing. Course records are listed as 14:25 for men and 16:02 for women. Organisers offer a £50 bonus to the first man and the first woman who break the respective course records.
Entry fees are £11 for UK/EA affiliated runners and £13 for non-affiliated runners, plus a £1 administration fee. Affiliated entries require a current valid UK/England Athletics registration number. Minimum age for entry is 13 years on the day of the race. Limited entries will be available on the day subject to availability.
Parking will be signposted on entry to the West Wilts Trading Estate. A licensed bar and food will be available at the venue. Prizes include the winners of the open race for first male and first female, and top male and female in each age category listed as U16, Sen, V40, V50, V60 and V70.
