West Shore Rotary Club Summerfest 5k
The West Shore Rotary Club Summerfest 5k is a community running event held at Fairview High School in Fairview Park, Ohio. The event features a single distance:

Participants receive a short-sleeve cotton t-shirt, though availability is limited for those who register after July 18th. Every runner who completes the course is presented with a custom finisher medal. Following the race, the organizers provide a selection of food and drinks for all participants.
The 5k race utilizes BibTag chip timing to record official results. Awards are presented to the top three male and female finishers overall. Additionally, the top three male and female runners in several age categories are recognized, including groups for participants aged 10 and under, 11-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and those 70 and over.
The event allows dogs to participate alongside their owners. Owners must use a short leash and are requested to line up at the back of the starting group. Registration options include pre-registration or on-site registration on the morning of the event, with different fee structures for adults and children aged 13 and under.
