Tom Schreiber Memorial 5K and 1 Mile
The Tom Schreiber Memorial 5K and 1 Mile takes place in Parma, Ohio, with start and finish at James Day Park (Nike Park). The event is held on July 18, 2026, and includes in-person and virtual options.
Both the 5K and the 1-mile races are chip-timed. The 5K course has split points at every mile and live participant tracking available through The Last Mile mobile app. The 1-mile course records a split at the half-mile mark. Times for the combined entry are added together to determine combo rankings.
Proceeds from the event will fund a scholarship to be awarded to a senior track or cross-country runner from the Parma City School District. Participants receive ice cream at the finish, a custom finisher medal, a T-shirt while supplies last, and sample products from CeraVe. Awards information is available under the event awards tab.
Registration opens January 18, 2026. Event registration fees vary by option, including a Youth Division 5K, on-site 5K, 1-mile, combo entry, and a virtual 5K.
