Tom Schreiber Memorial 5K and 1 Mile
The Tom Schreiber Memorial 5K and 1 Mile is a community road event held at James Day Park (Nike Park) in Parma, Ohio. The event offers multiple participation options including a timed 5K, a timed 1-mile, a combined 1-mile and 5K category with combined times, a youth division 5K, and a virtual 5K.

The 5K and 1-mile events are chip-timed. The 5K course includes split points at each mile and live participant tracking via The Last Mile mobile app. The 1-mile course has a split at the half-mile mark. The youth 5K option does not include a T-shirt but participants receive a medal and ice cream.
Proceeds will be used to create a scholarship in Tom Schreiber’s name to be awarded to a senior track or cross-country runner from the Parma City School District. All finishers receive ice cream and a custom finisher medal; T-shirts are available while supplies last. Sample products from CeraVe are also provided.
