Run/Walk for WeSPARK - Event
The Run/Walk for WeSPARK 5K/10K & Kids FUN RUN is a community fundraising run/walk held in February 2026. The event includes the following races and activities:
- 5K Run/Walk
- 10K Run/Walk
- Kids Fun Run (Ages 3-11)
- The Doggie Run
The 5K and 10K are chip-timed courses that run around Lake Balboa and are described as flat. Dogs on leash are allowed; registered dogs receive a t-shirt. Strollers are accessible on both the 5K and 10K courses. All registrants receive a commemorative t-shirt and a finisher medal. Age division awards are given for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in each age group.
Location, logistics and extras
The event site is Woodley Park Section 1, Lake Balboa (6076 Woodley Ave., Encino, CA 91316). Packet pick-up begins at 7:30am. Pre-registration is noted as closed in the source text, with day-of walk-up registrations accepted at $45 plus fees. On-site parking is available in the Woodley Park Section 1 lot, with an overflow lot accessible via the road to Woodley Lakes Golf Course; directions are provided from Victory Blvd and Burbank Blvd. Proceeds benefit WeSPARK Cancer Support Center.
