Event

The 16th Annual Run/Walk for WeSPARK 5K/10K & Kids FUN RUN takes place on February 22, 2026, at Woodley Park Section 1, Lake Balboa (6076 Woodley Ave, Los Angeles, CA 91316). The event includes in-person and virtual options and benefits the WeSPARK Cancer Support Center. Races are chip-timed and run around Lake Balboa; the course is described as flat.

Details

All registrants receive a commemorative T-shirt and a finisher medal. Age division awards are given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each group. New this year are "Kaya Award" medals for registered dogs competing for 1st through 3rd place. The event is stroller-friendly and dog-friendly. On-site features include a vendor expo with community partners, raffle prizes, and live music. The event is planned to proceed rain or shine.

Parking is centered at the Woodley Park Section 1 lot, with an overflow lot accessible via the road leading to Woodley Lakes Golf Course from Victory Boulevard or Burbank Boulevard. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
