Giving Thanks 5k, 10k, 15k, Half Marathon : Long Beach
A Better World Running stages multi-distance races on the Long Beach Shoreline Path at 5400 E Ocean Blvd, Belmont Shores, Long Beach, CA. The course is an open beach-path route with marked out-and-back loops and shared use by pedestrians, runners, and cyclists. An aid station at the turnaround near the start/finish supplies water cups, water bottles, Gatorade cups, and energy gels.
Distances offered:
- 5k out-and-back
- 10k two 5k loops
- 15k three 5k loops
- Half marathon three 4.36 mile loops
Registration includes custom finisher medals, drawstring goodie bags, free race videos, live finish results, free photos tied to bibs, cinematic race highlight reels, trophies and achievement badges for milestones, an Ascend Index ranking and tracking features, and a free event app. Snacks and samples are provided on race day. Age group awards are available for pickup at the race only.
Group discounts apply automatically for three or more participants; additional group discount options are available. Transfers to a later date or to another participant are permitted by organizer request. There is a no refund policy. A 3:15 time limit applies to the half marathon.
