Wendelville VFC Harvest Moon 5K
Wendelville Volunteer Fire Company presents the 29th annual Harvest Moon event on Wednesday, September 9 in North Tonawanda, New York. The organization is 100 percent volunteer and serves the Town of Pendleton in Niagara County. The event includes a 5K run, a 2 mile walk and a kids race on a course that runs along the Erie Canal.

The course is USATF certified and is described as fast and shady along the historic Erie Canal. The race start is located approximately 0.3 miles south of Wendelville Fire Company Hall #1; participants are advised to park at Hall #1 and walk south over the bridge to the start line. A course map shows start, finish and split locations.
Entry fees are listed for pre-registration and race day for the 5K and 2 mile walk, with a separate fee for the kids race and for attendance at the post-race party. Packet pick-up is available at Wendelville Fire Company Hall #1 on the day before the event and on race day.
