Brothers of Mercy Oktoberfest & Race to Remember
Brothers of Mercy Oktoberfest & Race to Remember is a community event on September 11, 2026 at the Brothers of Mercy Center in Clarence, NY. The program combines a certified 5K course with an onsite Oktoberfest party and a Ceremony of Remembrance marking the 25th anniversary of September 11th.
The certified 5K follows secure suburban streets and a segment through the Tillman Wildlife Management Area before returning to campus. 5K registration includes admission to the post-race Oktoberfest party. The first 300 registrants will receive a commemorative T-shirt. Kids 10 and under attend free.
The Oktoberfest party features live music and dancing with The Polka Boyz, authentic German food such as bratwurst, German potato salad, and Bavarian pretzels, and international beer including premium beer donated by Hofbräuhaus. The evening also includes basket raffles with local prizes.
Registration opens February 19, 2026. Published pricing windows list the 5K at $30 through August 11 and $35 from August 12 through September 10, and the party-only option at $25 through September 10.
