Brothers of Mercy Oktoberfest & Race to Remember
This community evening at the Brothers of Mercy Center in Clarence, NY marks the 25th anniversary of September 11th with a combined remembrance and social gathering. The program pairs an Oktoberfest party with a certified 5K Run/Walk on a course that traverses secure suburban streets and the Tillman Wildlife Management Area before returning to campus.
A Ceremony of Remembrance is part of the event and offers a tribute to lives affected by 9/11 and recognition of community strength and unity. Post-race activities include food and drink, live music and dancing, raffles, and other festivities on campus. Food offerings listed for the event include bratwurst, German potato salad, Bavarian pretzels, and international beer, with premium beer donated by Hofbräuhaus noted among the beverage options.
