AIA Queen City Architecture 5K - Event description

The AIA Queen City Architecture 5K is an annual 5K run and walk through the historic downtown neighborhoods of Buffalo. The route highlights local architecture and is accompanied by an audio companion that provides information about buildings along the course.

The event is a charity fundraiser for Buffalo Public Schools. The course begins at Seneca One Tower, located at 1 Seneca Street, Buffalo, NY 14212. A sanctioned race map and additional event details are provided by the organizer.

Online registration closes at 5pm on Thursday, September 10, 2026. Walk up registration is available on race day; packet pickup is the location for day of registration and organizers note cash only for walk up registration. Bib pickup will open on race morning.

The first 125 participants will receive a performance t shirt; sizes are limited. There is an after party at a local brewery following the event.
