Wendell 5K - Presented by Vardy HPC

The Wendell 5K is scheduled for April 4, 2026 in Wendell, North Carolina, with the listed location on E Fourth Street. The run is organized as a community fundraiser to raise money for Lake Myra Elementary School. The course runs through the streets of downtown Wendell and highlights the town center and its historic character.

The event also serves as the kickoff for NC Sports Con events held over three weekends. A course map is provided by the organizers. Packet pickup is scheduled on Thursday, April 2 at Pace Yourself Run Company in Wendell, on Friday, April 3 at the same location, and on race morning at the start/finish area. The deadline to guarantee a race shirt is Wednesday, March 25.

The listed registration fee is $35. All participants receive a t-shirt. Results and timing are provided by Run The East, LLC. Awards are listed for the top three overall male and female finishers and for top male and female in the following age groups: 15 and under, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and over.
