Wendell 5K & 10K
The Wendell 5K & 10K takes place in Downtown Wendell on E Fourth Street in Wendell, North Carolina on April 3, 2027. The event offers two road race distances that run through the town and finish in the historic downtown area.

Registration opens August 1, 2026 and closes April 3, 2027. Registration fees are $35 for the 5K and $45 for the 10K. Participants who register by the shirt deadline of Wednesday, March 24 will receive a race t-shirt with registration.
Packet pickup is available Friday, April 2 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Pace Yourself Run Company in Wendell, and Saturday, April 3 from 6:30 AM to 7:30 AM at the start/finish area. Course maps are listed as pending.
Awards include overall prizes for the top three male and top three female finishers, plus age group awards for male and female competitors in the following groups: 15 and under; 16-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; and 70 and over.
The race also serves as the kickoff event for three weeks of activities leading up to NC Sports Con. Proceeds from the event will benefit Wendell initiatives and local programs. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
