Trophy Trot 5k
The event takes place on November 26, 2026, at 1251 Goode St, Raleigh, NC 27603, just off Lake Wheeler Road on Dix Park. The course is offered as a 5k (3.1 miles) road race. Parking is available along Maywood Ave in front of Trophy Brewing.
Registration cost is listed on the event registration site and proceeds from the race go directly to Healing Transitions. Race swag includes a finish medal and a beer from Trophy Brewing Company; nonalcoholic beverage options are available. Premium poly blend tees are offered for an additional fee during registration.
Awards include cash prizes for the top three overall female and male finishers of $100, $75, and $50. Age group award winners receive gift cards from Runologie.
All donations and race proceeds support Healing Transitions. The organization provides peer based long term residential services for people who are homeless and have substance use issues. Healing Transitions states it has offered these services since January 2001 and that, together with community partners, it helped reduce Wake Countys homeless population by 25 percent even as the county population grew 45 percent, an approximate 50 percent drop in the number of unsheltered individuals.
