Freedom Ride Rescue Turkey Day 5K
The Freedom Ride Rescue Turkey Day 5K is an annual Thanksgiving Day running event held in Garner, North Carolina, in White Deer and Lake Benson Parks. The course routes use paved trails that are described as relatively flat and pass through seasonal park scenery.
Race options include:

Virtual participants can upload their times but virtual results are not included in awards. Race shirts for virtual entries are shipped to the continental United States or offered by local delivery or pick up while supplies last.
The event has had capped entries in the past; the first year was limited to 500 participants and sold out. For the referenced year, the race is limited to 1,000 participants. Registration fees are set for each race option and are noted to increase as race day approaches. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
