We Are CTC 5K
The We Are CTC 5K is an annual fundraiser event held at Hampton Beach Seashell Stage State Park in New Hampshire. The event serves as a benefit to support research for various connective tissue syndromes, including Ehlers-Danlos, Marfans, and Loey-Dietz. All proceeds raised during the event are dedicated to this research.
The event offers two main components for participation:
- We Are CTC 5K: An in-person 5 km distance.
- We Are CTC Virtual 5K: A remote participation option for the 5 km distance.
The course at Hampton Beach is open to participants of different modalities, as the organizers accommodate runners, walkers, and individuals using wheelchairs. In addition to the race, the morning activities include raffles for those in attendance. Registration is open to the public, and individuals may also participate as volunteers or join specifically as donors to the cause. The in-person race takes place at 180 Ocean Blvd in Hampton.
